Things To Do

The New England region is well worth exploring if you have time before or after the wedding. Here are some of our favourite spots.

At Deepwater Station

Explore the Station

Deepwater Station is a working property with a rich history and beautiful landscape. Take a walk through the grounds, explore the historic buildings, and soak up the surroundings at your own pace.

On the property

Fishing the Deepwater River

The property has private access to over 10km of the Deepwater River with double frontage along its length. The river is well known for large cod and yellowbelly, and has been catch-and-release only for many years. Guests are welcome to explore a number of accessible spots — drive part of the way and walk the rest. The property also makes a great base for nearby trout streams upstream.
